Introduction
The Lawrencium cluster, part of the Laboratory Research Computing project, is the first shared cluster system providing high-speed parallel computational resources to facilitate science and research across all of Berkeley Lab. PIs from all divisions are invited and encouraged to participate. While there is a nominal fee for user accounts, compute cycles on this 1584-core system are provided free of charge to all Lab projects across all divisions. Users are expected to
periodically provide feedback on how this service has helped with science.
This Users Guide provides basic instructions on how to get started with your
Lawrencium account.
